Postage, Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are free for orders to be delivered to a UK address. Overseas postage is calculated at checkout and will vary according to size and weight and destination. Sadly, it can be expensive to ship dog bed overseas.
Hindquarters dog collars, leads, harnesses and dog bowls, are usually dispatched via Royal Mail. Delivery of these items to UK addresses should arrive within 3 working days. International orders are sent on a tracked and signed service and should arrive within 5-8 working days, although timescales depend on local services.
Small dog beds are dispatched the next working day a 48 hour service. We aim to ship Medium and Large dog beds by courier the next working day on a 48 hour service. Large and XL dog beds might take a bit longer to pack and dispatch.
We will let you know when your order is on its way.

We welcome international orders and the Hindquarters website is configured to accept orders from outside the UK. Shipping costs for international orders are added at point of checkout and vary according to weight, dimension and destination.
Hindquarters dog beds are bulky and shipping outside the UK is expensive, particularly larger dog bed sizes. If you live outside the UK and are looking to buy a Hindquarters dog bed then our Stuff It Yourself Dog Beds are cheaper to ship internationally. Using the same Hindquarters dog bed sizes and design, they are stuffed by you with old clothes and bedding. Your dog will get to be with you the whole time and sleep in ultimate bliss.

We produce functional, quality products for dogs and their owners and are proud of what we make and sell. But we will not be totally satisfied until you are and so we offer a full refund or exchange (excluding package + postage costs) if you are not entirely happy with your Hindquarters product.
We operate a goodwill returns policy so just get in touch if you are not happy. Under UK law, you have 14 days from receiving your goods to cancel your order. Exchanges and refunds must be notified within 14 days of receipt and returned within a further 14 days, after this Hindquarters can refuse the right to accept a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you are not satisfied, please:
- cancel your order in writing by email to Hindquarters within 14 days of receipt letting us know reasons and whether you’d like a refund or exchange
- return the item to Hindquarters, PO BOX HQ, 46 Spenser Road, London SE24 0NR
- please ask for a proof of postage as we can’t be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit back to us

Hindquarters dog beds are built to last and we are confident that treated with care they will last years.
We are happy to repair free of charge any dog beds or dog bed covers that rip or tear. This doesn't cover general wear and tear or major damage caused by chewing.
You assume responsibility for the selection, suitability and use of Hindquarters products, keeping your dog under close supervision, and checking collar, leads and harnesses regularly for damage or degradation.
Products, prices, payment and VAT
All prices on the Hindquarters website include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate. We also include delivery costs to UK addresses.
For international customers it is your responsibility to resolve any local or duty taxes.
All payments are processed in GB Pounds Sterling. Payment from any other currency will be calculated by your payment provider and calculated in to your local currency on your card statement. Hindquarters Ltd reserve the right to refuse to supply products to any individual or company.
Products displayed on the Hindquarters website are available while stocks allow, and items can be removed without any prior notice. The pricing and descriptions of products can also be amended at any point without notice. We aim to show the colours and details of our dog products as accurately as possible. However as resolutions, print methods, lighting and screen settings can affect how an item is displayed the accuracy of colours cannot be guaranteed. And as Hindquarters products are handmade the accuracy of details and measurements cannot be guaranteed.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc, they provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored via Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, they store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment: if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase then Shopify collects your card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction data is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standard set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Privacy and security
Hindquarters are committed to protecting and maintaining our customers’ privacy and making the use of our website as simple and secure as possible.
We collect your personal information when you place an order with Hindquarters. By placing an order, you are consenting to the collection of your personal data: if an order is placed, we need to hold personal information including your name, email address, phone number, home address, delivery and billing address(es) in order to process and fulfil the order. Card details will never be shared with third parties and will only be used to process your order, via our secure Payment Service Provider's systems. Your phone number will only be used if there’s a problem with your order or its delivery and we need to get in touch quickly.
Electronic payment transactions are handled by Shopify using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) which ensure that data is encrypted and thus protected. So we do not store or have access to your card details at any point in a transaction. If we suspect suspicious use of your card we will contact you by telephone or email.
Data held is securely stored using industry standard firewalls and can only be accessed by Hindquarters. We will use your personal data in order to process your order and deliver your purchases and to inform you of progress. We may contact you occasionally by email with promotional information and news, from which you can simply unsubscribe at any time.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your card, place an order and arrange a delivery or return, we imply that you consent to our collecting the data and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent. If after you opt-in you change your mind you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by contacting us.
We will not pass your details on to any third parties.
