Like changing a duvet, there's a knack to getting a dog bed cover back on.
Putting freshly washed covers back on a Hindquarters dog bed is pretty straightforward, but here is a demo, and our tips to avoid getting in a tangle.
Hindquarters dog beds come in sizes from XS to XL with a range of removable washable covers. Here we demonstrate with a small size dog bed with moss green corduroy covers.
The inner dog bed comprises two parts that fit together into an oval shaped dog bed.
There is a central cushion with pin stitches - and a bolster - into which the central cushion neatly fits.
Both elements are generously stuffed and covered with a water resistant but breathable material that's durable and scratch proof.
To put a dog bed cover on, first, take the central cushion and its cover:
Insert the cushion sideways into its cover:
Gently ease the cushion into the dog bed cover:
Turn the cushion and make sure it fits neatly into the oval shape:
Fix the velcro seam and shake the dog bed cushion:
Next, take the bolster part of the dog bed and its cover:
Find the top of the oval inner dog bed - and start to put the dog bed cover on so that the velcro seam runs length ways at the base of the dog bed:
Flip the dog bed and gently ease the cushion into the cover:
If necessary, lightly shove the dog bed into the cover:
Gently insert the last bit of the dog bed cushion:
Check the cover and inner dog bed are aligned - and adjust them if necessary:
Last step in getting the dog bed covers on - fix the velcro strips together:
So, that is the dog bed covers on. Now final assembly:
Place the central cushion into the bolster, making sure to shove it in:
And there you have a comfy dog bed with clean covers:
