Ordering an item from overseas can sometimes be tricky so here we explain how international orders work at Hindquarters.
We are happy to ship Hindquarters dog products anywhere in the world and the checkout process on our website allows this. So if you see something you like and you live outside the UK, you can buy it. Shipping costs are added to international orders at checkout.
It costs a lot more to ship a dog bed than it does to ship a dog collar or lead. Shipping costs vary according to products purchased and destination but here is a rough guide to shipping a Hindquarters collar and/or lead overseas:
- to ship a dog collar to Australia costs £5 for a small collar or £8 for a large collar or a collar and lead
- to ship a collar to the US/North America costs £8
- to post a collar or lead to Europe costs £5
- shipping a small item to South America or the rest of the world costs £8
These prices are a guide and actual prices are worked out per order based on items ordered and destination country. Harnesses are heavier and bulkier and so it costs slightly more to ship a harness overseas. Items are sent on a tracked and signed for service and the parcel should arrive within 5 working days.
Please note that international parcels need to pass through customs and sometimes delays occur. Different countries have different postal service and procedures and customs. In certain countries we rely on local delivery partners whose delivery time schedules cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping dog beds overseas is expensive. The cost varies according to the size of dog bed and destination. It is much cheaper to ship a small dog bed compared to a big bed. But even a small dog bed package is bulky, weighs nearly 4kg, and incurs significant delivery charges:
- to ship a small dog bed to the US, Canada and Australia costs £50
- to ship a small bed to Europe costs £18
- to ship a small dog bed to the rest of the world costs £50
